Generally, Travel Advisors get paid a commission directly from most suppliers. What that means is that you usually don't pay anything extra for our time.
**There are only a few exceptions where non-refundable planning fees will be charged from Looking Forward Travel - these will always be discussed and agreed upon up front:
-Just Shopping - a fee of $25 will be assessed if you are shopping around and want to book yourself, or not ready to put down a deposit. I can do a search to confirm you are getting the best prices or find a way to beat them. If you choose to book yourself, the fee is non-refundable. If you choose to book your vacation package with me (any combo of flight + hotel or car rental or tour) the planning fee will be refunded.
-Flights only - a non-refundable planning fee of $20 for domestic flights and $40 for international flights per person will be charged for Roundtrip Airfare (from home to destination and from destination to home). A fee of $10 per person per flight will be charged on any flights needed in addition to the roundtrip.
-Wholesale Retainer - At times, we can find incredible deals for you from wholesale suppliers which are only available from Looking Forward Travel. These Wholesale Planning fees are usually based upon the total savings we are able to offer and are non-refundable.
-Non-Commissionable Supplier bookings - If you have your heart set on an activity, an excursion, a ticket, a tour or booking with a supplier we do not work with or that does not offer a commission for travel agents, we will advise you and discuss either your choice to book yourself or a small non-refundable planning fee for our service.
-Proposal revisions - We prepare your vacation package proposal with two changes at no additional cost. Each revision thereafter will assess a $25 non-refundable planning fee.

The quote request form will ask about various elements needed to book travel with us: budget, flights, hotel, resorts, guided tour, cruise, activities, car rental and more. Once the form is received, you will be contacted and a phone call or zoom appointment is set up to discuss further details.
Phone or Zoom call is to get to know you and discuss how you want to travel, and who is going. Do you want adventure or relaxation, are there any accessible, disability, or dietary needs? We will discuss the destination, what you liked and disliked about previous travels and any other information that may be important for you or your group to enjoy the trip including any upfront costs or fees.
Your travel advisor will create a beautiful proposal curated just for you with options based on the information provided via the quote request form and initial meeting. It may include flights, hotels/resorts, guided tours, car rentals, destination information, activities and entertainment. Prices will be included when available.
Look over your proposal. Check that the details of your intended trip are accurate. Contact your advisor with any questions or changes at this stage so that you get the trip you want. There may be a few things that need to be changed or added, no problem, we can take care of that and update your proposal. Once you have the trip planned that you want, use the APPROVE PROPOSAL button to let us know you are ready for the next step.
Once the proposal is approved, you will receive a link to a secure credit card authorization form with specific details regarding the payments to be made. You will be required to enter your valid email address for authentication and provide your credit card details and identification so that payment can be processed.
Download the free Trip Plans App. This app will hold your personal itinerary with everything you need during your trip (documents, flight info, confirmation numbers, etc..) including a chat feature to contact your advisor directly before, during and even after your trip.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These conditions apply to yourself, your family or traveling companions that you represent or make payments on their behalf. Looking Forward Travel offers retail travel services to customers, which are provided by separate and independent vendors of travel services. We do not operate, control, or otherwise provide the services of the independent travel vendors. Looking Forward Travel acts only as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, ground operator, tour operator, cruise line, shore excursion, attractions, or other travel Suppliers who provide goods or services for the passenger(s) trip.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents include, without limitation, airline tickets, hotel vouchers, tour vouchers, or any other document (whether in electronic form or otherwise) used to confirm an arrangement with a service provider. Travel documents may be subject to certain conditions and/or restrictions such as, but not limited to, being non-refundable, non-date-changeable, and subject to cancellation and/or amendment fees. Travel documents cannot be transferred to another person to use. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being canceled. Any errors in names, dates, and timings may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being canceled. Any errors in names, dates, and timings on your documentation will be your responsibility if we are not advised at the time of booking. If minors are involved, it is your responsibility to have proper permission and/or documentation for the minor to travel. Please reconfirm your flights at least 24 hours prior to departure. Looking Forward Travel is not responsible for any fees related to your travels, including baggage fees.
PASSPORTS: All individuals departing from the United States of America must be in possession of a valid passport. Please check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended travel time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. You are responsible for confirming with the United States Department of State or the representative government agency of the country to which you are traveling to confirm the requirements for visas and/or other requirements for admission to your destination. Any fines, penalties, payments, or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.
FORCE MAJEURE: “Force Majeure” means, in relation to Looking Forward Travel, any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Looking Forward Travel, (including, but without limitation, acts of God, explosion, flood, forceful wind, fire or accident, war or threat of war declared or undeclared, acts of terrorism, sabotage, riots, strikes, civil disturbance, requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, defects in machinery and vehicles, delay, wildlife, or other untoward occurrences. Looking Forward Travel shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you as a consequence of any of the Suppliers being unable to perform its obligations due to the unusual or unforeseeable circumstances (a “force majeure event”) beyond the control of the party affected by the force majeure event. Looking Forward Travel is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure-to-act of any travel service provider or of any third party. In addition and without limitation, Looking Forward Travel is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any goods or services, whether resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation, or any failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Also be advised that certain foreign facilities or amenities, such as air-conditioning systems in public places, hotels, and motor coaches may not be up to U.S. standards. If due to weather, flight schedules, or other uncontrollable factors you are required to spend additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers, and meal costs. Baggage is entirely at the owner's risk. The prices of these tours are based on rates in effect (including foreign exchange rates) at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. You specifically agree that Looking Forward Travel is not liable for any consequential loss or damage.
CHANGES, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS: Change Fees: Once a travel booking has been confirmed and deposit(s) and/or full payment received, Looking Forward Travel reserves the right to charge a $50 non-refundable change fee ("Change Fee") for date changes made at your request for each adult travel booking changed. This Change Fee is in addition to any change fees charged by the travel service provider(s). The amount of the change fee will vary depending on the type of change requested, the supplier(s) involved, and the time period before departure. Please note that some changes may not be possible or may require the purchase of a new ticket. It is important to contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options and avoid any unnecessary fees. Cancellation and Refunds: Please be aware that most travel bookings are non-refundable and canceled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking that you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge. Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and that you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms. Pricing and availability may change without notice. Passenger(s) agrees that Looking Forward Travel is not responsible for any errors or omissions in any quotes, advertisements, including on our website, resulting in inventory, content, or pricing discrepancies nor is Looking Forward Travel responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur as a result of incorrect information from third parties. Suppliers reserve the right not to honor any published prices that it determines were erroneous due to electronic, printing, or clerical error. You acknowledge this right and agree to hold Looking Forward Travel harmless for any actions or damages arising from Supplier pricing. In the case of an airline e-ticket being issued, it is your responsibility to understand your e-ticket expiration policy which is unique to the individual airline.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS: Some countries require insecticide spraying of aircraft prior to a flight or while you are on the aircraft. Federal law requires that we refer you to the Department of Transport disinfection website. (www.transportation.gov/airconsumer/spray).
REFUSAL OF SERVICE: Service providers reserve the right to refuse service to travelers at their sole discretion, including, without limitation, if the traveler: (i) Lacks proper documentation for the country of destination; (ii) Has a contagious disease; (iii) Is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or narcotics; and/or (iv) Manifests disruptive and/or unruly behavior. Looking Forward Travel assumes no liability for the acts of the service provider in refusing service.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ADVISORY: It is your responsibility to become familiar with the Hazardous Materials Advisory, and to comply with these advisories. You can find more information at faa.gov: What are Dangerous Goods? | Federal Aviation Administration (http://www.faa.gov)
FLIGHT CONFIRMATION: We strongly suggest that clients reconfirm exact flight times with the carrier prior to departure. Air travelers are required to check in at least 2 hours prior to departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights and must report to the gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure time. Failure to comply may result in the loss of the seat to another passenger.
LIABILITY: Looking Forward Travel is not responsible for missed connections, schedule changes, aircraft changes, or trip interruption. It is the traveler’s responsibility to have proper travel documents for all trips including but not limited to vouchers, passports, visas, marriage licenses, or birth certificates. Travel insurance should be purchased to protect you in these circumstances. Change and cancel fees may apply. Hotel and tour operator fees may apply at the time of a change or cancellation of an existing schedule.

RISKS/SAFETY: Travel to certain destinations may involve greater risk than others. Looking Forward Travel urges customers to remain informed as to current news events, as well as to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements and advisories issued by the United States Government prior to booking travel to international destinations. Information on conditions in various countries and the level of risk associated with travel to particular international destinations can be found at www.state.gov, www.tsa.gov, www.dot.gov, www.faa.gov, www.cdc.gov, and www.cbp.gov By offering for sale travel to particular destinations, Looking Forward Travel does not represent or warrant that travel to such points is advisable or without risk, and shall not be liable for costs, damages, or losses that may result from travel to such destinations. customer’s participation constitutes acceptance of such events at customer’s own risk.
INDIVIDUAL ENTRY AND EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Each foreign country holds different views of past criminal offenses, whether within or outside of their boundaries. If you have a current or past offense, and you are unsure how the country you are traveling to (or through) views that offense, please contact that country directly for entry and exit requirements. (See:https://travel.state.gov/content/travel.html) Looking Forward Travel feels it is an invasion of privacy for any member of our staff to make such an inquiry. For example, if traveling to or through Canada, Americans with a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) record should always check whether current rules exclude admission, and potential waivers. (See:www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/faq/inadmissibility/index.asp). It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the vaccinations and health screenings required for your destination.
SUPPLIER INFORMATION: While Looking Forward Travel prides itself on selecting top quality Suppliers, we assume no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under our control. Suppliers reserve the right to deviate from the direct, customary and/or scheduled route or itinerary for any reason, without limitation and without notice. Passenger(s) acknowledge and agree Looking Forward Travel is not responsible for Supplier deviations, delays, cancellations, mandated overnight stays, missed connections or any other condition beyond its control. We will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if a Supplier needs to make a significant change to your confirmed booking or to cancel. We will also liaise between you and the Supplier in relation to any alternative arrangements offered by the Supplier, but we will have no further liability to you. If the Supplier is unable to offer agreeable alternative services, we will work to obtain and secure an alternate supplier for your travel. We are not responsible for a supplier’s failure to pay a refund or for supplier bankruptcy or insolvency or inability to perform. When agreeing to Looking Forward Travel’s terms and conditions, you are also agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Supplier.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel insurance protection is strongly recommended. As your travel agent, we have a professional responsibility to recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover certain risks inherent in travel to protect against THIRD PARTY SUPPLIER DEFAULT/BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION, DELAY, INTERRUPTION, CANCELLATION, MEDICAL EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION/EVACUATION & REPATRIATION, BAGGAGE & PERSONAL EFFECTS/LOST LUGGAGE & BAGGAGE DELAY, ILLNESS, ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISABILITY, TRAVEL ACCIDENT/SICKNESS MEDICAL EXPENSES, AND MORE. PROPER INSURANCE MAY PROTECT YOU FROM FINANCIAL LOSS IN ALMOST ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. By declining appropriate travel insurance, passenger(s) acknowledges and accepts liability for any cancellation penalties, damages and/or out-of-pocket expenses incurred. If purchasing travel insurance, we urge you to thoroughly read your policy’s confirmation of benefits. This information includes, but is not limited to, details on the extent of coverage and procedures for making a claim. Please note that the travel insurance provider may not be allowed to discuss your claim with Looking Forward Travel due to privacy laws (e.g. HIPAA). Passenger(s) acknowledge and agree that Looking Forward Travel has no control over the travel insurance provider or its coverage decisions, and as a result, Looking Forward Travel is not responsible for and shall not be liable for policy coverage, claims processing, or the denial of any claims. ELECTRONIC OR HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE: Both parties agree that you may acknowledge and agree to these Terms: (i) electronically; (ii) by handwritten signature; (iii) by any other electronic means, including, without limitation, via email acceptance of these Terms; or (iv) by your implied consent deemed via your actions, which shall include without limitation the payment of the invoice and/or your use of the services provided by Looking Forward Travel or any other travel supplier related to your booking. All such means will be deemed to constitute effective acknowledgement and execution of this Agreement and shall be sufficient to bind the parties to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If any legal action is taken against Looking Forward Travel, the most you will be able to receive under any circumstances is the total commission earned from the trip in dispute. Looking Forward Travel holds the right to update these terms and conditions at any time.
